Vendor/Exhibitor Contract Rules and Guidelines
2020 Memorial Day Fair and Parade

Saturday May 23rd, 2020 4:30 – 10pm,
Sunday May 24th, 2020 4:30 – 10pm
Monday May 25th, 2020 10:30am – 8pm Parade at 1:30pm
The Sweet Valley Volunteer Fire Company will be listed in the rest of this document as “SVVFC.”
All games will be subject to approval by the SVVFC.
Every effort will be made to control excess duplication of vendors and exhibits, the decision of the SVVFC will be final. Every effort will be made to create a positive atmosphere.
Electricity is provided, (1) 110V 20A circuit.
Water is available only with prior request and permission due to limited water access points.
Request for water and/or electricity must be specified on the contract application. If you request and are approved you must provide an anti-backflush device to connect to the SVVFC water system. If your water or electricity needs exceed what is provided, additional charges may be levied.

The following rules for exhibition shall be held in effect for the event;
- No food concessions
- No money games
- No vendors or exhibitors will sell or give away any Silly String, Snaps, String Bags, Bag Bombs, Smoke Snakes, Smoke Bombs or Invisible Ink
- ANY and ALL free promotions must be receive prior approval from the SVVFC prior to start of the fair
- The SVVFC reserves the right to disallow any merchandise sold by a vendor that is deemed detrimental to the enjoyment of the attendees.
- All items sold or distributed through games of chance shall be able to be legally sold or distributed as prizes.
- Due to a growing number of vendors and exhibitors, All sites will be arranged on a FIRST COME – FIRST SERVE BASIS!
- Absolutely NO ANIMALS will be allowed on SVVFC grounds, except service animals.
- No vehicles will be allowed on fair grounds during the specified event times.
- Only vehicles absolutely necessary to hold excess product will be able to remain in vendor area, and only with approval from the SVVFC.
- No walking vendors will be allowed on the fair grounds.
- Tents may not be spiked into the pavement
- Specific areas for parking will be provided for vendors, Please inquire where this is.
- Vendors/Exhibitors are responsible for securing their own merchandise. The SVVFC will supply night guards to patrol areas after closing. Night guards are provided Wednesday night through Sunday from 11:00pm – 7:00am.
- Any Vendor/Exhibitor caught in the act of cheating will not be tolerated. Legal action may be taken against any offender.
- SETUP: Vendors should plan to setup no later than Wednesday May 25’th by 11 PM.
- The SVVFC will not provide tables or canopies for vendors under any circumstances. Each Vendor MUST provide their own tables or other supplies needed for the event. This also applies to supplies needed to anchor outside canopies.
- Vendors/Exhibitors should plan to be ready for exhibition 1/2 hours before opening each day.
- TEARDOWN: Tear down of your exhibition, etc. shall not occur till the end of the fair Monday night. Early teardown is detrimental to the success of this event. Please help make this year’s event successful for everyone! Early teardown may forfeit your consideration for next year’s event.
- In the event that you must leave early, teardown may only occur with the approval of the Fair Chairman or their designee.
